Where did the idea for Strong Women in Tech come from?

It came from a podcast called Topics on Fire during a two part episode on the gender gap and technology/new media. The first episode has strong men and women hashing out and defining the issues themselves from both sides of the fence. In the second episode the women from part one of the discussion returned with a goal: to create some kind of real world solution for the problems surrounding the issue of gender in technology and new media.
